Design Story

ANKR designs immersive experiences at the intersection of nature, technology, and human perception. Using sound as the core medium, we create interactive environments that connect people, space, and context through participation rather than passive viewing.

Design Challenges

01 - Presenting a Complex Creative Practice Clearly

ANKR works across sound, technology, nature, performance, and spatial interaction. While this interdisciplinary nature is its strength, it also made the studio difficult to introduce clearly to clients and business partners.

Previously, projects were presented through a large, manually maintained PPT, which became hard to update, scale, and organize as the studio grew.

02 - Translating Sound, Code, and Nature into Visual

ANKR’s work is highly experiential and sound-driven, which is difficult to communicate through static visuals.

Traditional layouts failed to express the studio’s use of music, code, and natural elements in immersive performances and exhibitions.

03 - Differentiating ANKR from Other Creative Studios

Many creative studios operate within similar visual and conceptual territories.

ANKR needed a clear distinction that reflected its unique practice rather than generic “creative” positioning.

04 - Building Trust with Clients and Partners

As an experience-driven studio, ANKR needed to build credibility and trust quickly, especially for new clients unfamiliar with immersive or sound-based practices.

05 - Expanding Beyond Studio Work into Music Collaboration

In addition to immersive experiences, ANKR also operates as a music agency, collaborating with independent musicians and producers.

This role was previously unclear and underrepresented.

06 - Expanding Toward an International Market

As ANKR continues to grow, the studio aims to expand beyond the local market and reach international clients and collaborators.

However, most previous materials and project introductions were primarily localized, making it difficult to communicate the brand clearly to a global audience.

Strategy & Solutions

01 - Presenting a Complex Creative Practice Clearly

We designed a structured website that functions as a clear self-introduction platform.

The site highlights selected key projects and organizes content into showreels, slogan, core values, services, projects, and media coverage, allowing ANKR to communicate its identity quickly while remaining flexible through a CMS-based system.

02 - Translating Sound, Code, and Nature into Visual

We used code-visual animations provided by Framer as hero and loading effects to visually translate ANKR’s creative process.

A clean yet bold visual system was applied to create a futuristic, vivid, and modern atmosphere, reinforcing the brand’s identity while allowing motion and interaction to become part of the storytelling.

03 - Differentiating ANKR from Other Creative Studios

We emphasized ANKR’s frequent use of natural environments—plants, mountains, oceans, and outdoor sites—as part of performances and interactive installations.

By highlighting this connection between nature and technology, the brand establishes a distinctive identity that sets it apart from conventional digital or exhibition-focused studios.

04 - Building Trust with Clients and Partners

The website structure prioritizes showreels, selected projects, and recognized media coverage to validate ANKR’s professional capability.

Clear project categorization and visual storytelling help potential clients understand the scope, scale, and impact of ANKR’s work within seconds.

05 - Expanding Beyond Studio Work into Music Collaboration

We incorporated this function into the brand narrative, positioning ANKR as a bridge between independent music creators and commercial or exhibition contexts.

This expands the studio’s value proposition while reinforcing its ecosystem-driven approach to sound, culture, and collaboration.

06 - Expanding Toward an International Market

We prioritized building an English-first version of the website to establish a clear and accessible entry point for international users.

The content structure and language were designed to focus on universally understandable concepts—immersive experience, sound, interaction, and spatial design—while maintaining ANKR’s unique identity.

This approach allows ANKR to scale globally while using the website as a flexible foundation for future localization and international collaborations.
