Warsaw 1944 refers to the Warsaw Uprising, a major resistance operation led by the Polish Home Army against Nazi German occupation during World War II. Despite initial momentum, the uprising was brutally suppressed, resulting in massive civilian casualties and the near-total destruction of the city.

After reading this book, I was impacted in ways I didn’t expect, which led me to create this cover based on my own interpretation and emotional response to the story.
